Through Activist Education: Facilitating Activist Education Social and Environmental Justice in Classroom Practice to Promote Achievement, Equity, and Well-Being
1) Activity: "Stop bullying activity" Promoting equity, well-being, achievement
The teacher can use ecological awareness and social justice lenses in this activity.
Students will watch the motivated video relating to "Poor students are facing bullying issue" After watching this topic. The group will receive effective questions on how to deal with these problems through role-play and using problem-solving skills as well. The teacher can guide them with bringing a similar case of racism reading topic. Teachers give them questions about how we can deal with this problem, and the reason it happens, authentic solutions to have their voice by using critical skills and promoting equity, and well-being in the classroom environment. Teachers will give the summary task to complete the eco-solution after comparing two different topics, and restorative approaches using FNMI philosophy as one community, land relationship or Eco-justice ethics or any other social justice awareness. In this activity, teachers keep monitoring their conversation and create a co-learning stance to solve the same common issue and they feel safer because it makes a positive learning environment.
2) Assessment: Feedback culture & Considerations for Learning disabilities, FNMI, and ELL students based on ecological ethics relating to environmental justice

Promoting well-being culture: Teachers will use four different ecological justice care, respect, trust, and integrity in the minds of activity to cultivate creating peer feedback environment. According to ecological awareness, educators prepare for making trees activity using eco-system. Students will receive answers about how to grow our trees in environmental land safety. They will work together and research the ways how trees and flowers can grow sustainably. From this process, they will realize how the eco-environment needs lots of elements to be grown.
Promoting Equity: The teacher will provide based on ecological care with manipulatives like text-to-speech or speech-to-text or choose graphic organizers to support students' learning. If FNMI students have difficulty grasping the word, the teacher can provide a pre-vocab or word recognition tool. ELL students will receive an interpreting app to help their second language barrier.
Promoting Well-being and achievement: All students will receive "Stop ableism" feedback from the teacher. Teachers can give short guidelines about self-care, growth mindset, and positive discipline. The teacher can distribute communication books about students' resilience to parents. Teachers keep persevering to welcome students' slowing down for the questions and support their confidence. This can influence all students to feel they are safe to show their opinions.
